This unique swing, crafted by Aaron Young, is a nod to his signature motorcycle performances. He repurposes a discarded tire and playfully attaches it to a 24ct. gold chain, creating an edition of 10. Young's art explores rebellion and collaboration with subcultures, often reinterpreting post-war avant-garde masters' works through daring performances. In 'Arc Light' (2008), motorcycle riders replaced a car, creating intricate patterns with their tires' burnt rubber. Similarly, 'Greeting Card 10a' (2007) saw motorcyclists perform around wet-paint-coated panels. Young's work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Whitney Biennial. The swing is made from recycled tire and 24ct. gold chain, with a tire diameter of 30 inches and a 6-foot chain.
